Mr. Monchana Sattayathamrongtian Executive Committee of Thai Exhibition Association (TEA), participated in the opening ceremony and activities of R.S.112 “Prakarn Festival” at Phi Seur Samut Fort, Samut Prakan Province.
The purpose of this event is to elevate the quality of the festival to reflect its uniqueness and prominence. It involves various activities, including music and innovations, to promote the development of all aspects, serving as a mechanism to drive the economy, society, and the environment. It also encourages community participation, contributing to the sustainable and high-quality development of the city in the future.

The Thai Exhibition Association (TEA) took a group of members on a trip to Shanghai, China, from September 3-5, 2023. The trip, titled “International Business Matching Trade Mission in Shanghai” was an opportunity for members to gain new perspectives, build experience, and connect with potential business partners.
The delegation included representatives from the following companies: BITEC Management Co., Ltd. Expo Inter Co., Ltd. IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. Inter-Media Consultant Co., Ltd. Kavin Intertrade Co., Ltd. Kingsmen C.M.T.I. PLC. MB Global Marketings Co., Ltd.
The opening ceremony was held by Mr. Loy Joon How, Vice President of TEA, followed by a speech by Mr. Sang Jiming, chairman of the Shanghai Convention and Exhibition Industry Association (SCEIA). The event also featured leading companies from China, including Lama Exhibition, Shanghai Nuojin Exhibition, Zhidao Exhibition, and CICE Magazine.
The purpose of the trip was to promote and support TEA members in building business networks and exploring opportunities with new partners in China. TEA anticipates that the trip will generate at least 40 new business leads and partnerships, as well as facilitate business meetings and future collaboration with companies from the target market.

Thank you Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) for hosting this trip recently in Beijing. Thai Exhibition Association members participated included: BITEC Property Solutions, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre Bangkok Thailand, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center and Kavin Intertrade Co., Ltd.
During the trip our delegates met up with over 20 outbound agents and independent organisers to seek potential business opportunities. It was to reconnect with the China market which recently started to reopen at the beginning of this year.
The event was highlighted with His Excellency Atthayut Srisamut, Ambassador of Thailand to China and Dr. Atchaka Sibunruang, Chairperson of the Board of Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) presence.
Ms. Panittha Buri President of Thai Exhibition Association (TEA), was invited to attend the “ISAN MICE Expo 2023: MICE Power Soft Power”, the first major MICE event in the northeastern region of Thailand. The event provided a platform for MICE organizations from both the public and private sectors in various areas to meet and exchange information about products and services through business matching events.
The association president participated in various activities at the event, including conferences, business matching, and a showcase area.
The ISAN MICE Expo 2023 aims to enhance the competitiveness of the MICE destination in the northeastern region by leveraging the diversity of Isaan identity, creating valuable experiences through the creative power of MICE events, and contributing to the government’s policy to promote and support the growth of domestic conferences and events. This will create jobs, stimulate regional economies, and help enhance the MICE industry‘s potential in northeastern Thailand and the country as a whole.
In concurrent event – Regional Exhibition ISAN Connect – the President also gave a Key Note speech on the Key success factors of Exhibitions to Esarn MICE Organisers, hosted by Khun Kanokporn Damrongkul Director of Domestic MICE department.

July 21, 2023: Ms. Supalux Suvathi, Chairperson – Standards and Sustainability of Thai Exhibition Association (TEA), and Ms. Premporn Saisaengchan, Advisor of Thai Exhibition Association (TEA) TEA representative, participated in the brainstorming meeting for the enhancement of the core curriculum content of the course “Introduction to MICE Industry – MICE 101 3rd Edition.” The event took place at the Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn.
The objective of the meeting was to develop industry knowledge in the MICE sector to align with the current era. The goal is to disseminate this knowledge to students, professors, educational staff, as well as individuals involved in the MICE industry, enabling them to apply it in their future teaching and professional endeavors.
The event “𝗨𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆: 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 & 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀” was held on Tuesday, July 25, at the Nakara Grand Ballroom 2, Rua Rasada Hotel.
Honored by Trang province’s governor, the event was inaugurated with a special keynote address. followed by actively engaging in listening to the trends of the international trade exhibition industry by Ms. Supalux Suvathi, Chairperson – Standards and Sustainability of Thai Exhibition Association (TEA).
The event was packed with content from Mr. Napat Pongpanatnukul, who delivered a special presentation on ‘Elevating ART & CRAFT to International Product Level.’ Additionally, Mr. Prachlue Pinkarn discussed “CENTRAL THAM“. Following these discussions, there was a special presentation on ‘Enhancing Event Organizing Capabilities through Professional Trends and Innovations’ by Mr. Narasak Muangkaew, Manager – MICE Intelligence & Innovation at Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau.
In addition to the informative presentations, there were also exhibitions showcasing the works of local entrepreneurs, business matching activities, and workshops by Mrs. Ladda Mongkolchaivivat, Consultant for Thai Exhibition Association (TEA), and Ms. Supalux Suvathi, Chairperson – Standards and Sustainability of Thai Exhibition Association (TEA). These workshops aimed to enhance essential skills and further develop the exhibition industry.
Ms. Panittha Buri, President of the Thai Exhibition Association (TEA), had the honor to participate in the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) Roadshow, organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the Thailand-China Business Council (TCBC) on July 12, 2023, at Meeting room, 6th floor, Kromadit Building.
The association’s President expressed readiness to support the growing MICE Industry, preparing to address urgent societal, environmental, demographic and economic challenges.
It is anticipated that the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) event, themed “Connecting the World for a Shared Future,” scheduled from November 28 – December 2, 2023, at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing, will attract over 100,000 buyers worldwide through online channels.
