Thai Exhibition Association (TEA) organized TEA InnoTech Talk #1 on 3 October 2025 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, with the aim of promoting knowledge in innovation and sustainable development for its members and stakeholders in the MICE industry.

The event featured two key modules:
• Insights to Strategies: Driving Business Transformation by Mr. Tapanan Yeophantong, Co-founder & Research Director of Baksters Co., Ltd.
• Carbon Neutral Events: Turning Global Rules into Action for the MICE Industry by Mr. Thammawat Chaitha, Co-Founder of CarbonMICE, PEA Innovation Hub
Participants also joined an interactive workshop, which allowed them to exchange perspectives and experiences closely with industry experts.
The atmosphere was warm, engaging, and filled with the spirit of learning. TEA is committed to organizing similar activities on a regular basis to empower its members and help them stay ahead of changes in the industry.

Thai Exhibition Association (TEA) and the Association of Korean Exhibition Industry (AKEI) have announced a collaboration to strengthen ties and unlock new opportunities in the exhibition industry.
This partnership includes the exchange of promotional space on both associations’ websites to support the dissemination of information and activities, as well as participation in TMX26 in Thailand, where AKEI will showcase a dedicated booth to highlight the strengths of Korea’s exhibition industry and foster business connections between Thai and Korean stakeholders.
This joint effort reflects the shared commitment of TEA and AKEI to driving sustainable growth of the exhibition industry across ASEAN and East Asia 🌏✨
On 26 September 2025, the Thai Exhibition Association (TEA) celebrated the official opening of its new office at BITEC (Hall 98), welcoming distinguished guests from across the industry.
The ceremony began with a registration and a Buddhist blessing for good fortune. Mrs. Prapee Buri, Chairperson of BHIRAJ BURI Group, delivered congratulatory remarks, followed by a thank-you address and the official opening speech by Mr. Loy Joon How, President of TEA.
Guests then joined a group photo session and toured the new office, marking another milestone in TEA’s mission to strengthen its role as the hub of Thailand’s exhibition industry.
The Professional Exhibition Management: Project Manager training was held in an intensive and inspiring atmosphere on 22 September 2025 at Jupiter 4 Room, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, with a total of 46 participants joining to broaden their perspectives and enhance their skills in professional exhibition management.
The training began in a warm and friendly atmosphere before moving into the opening session, led by:
🔸 Ms. Nuanrumpa Ngambanharn, Senior Manager, MICE Capabilities Development, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB)
🔸 Dr. Supalux Suvathi, Secretary General of the Thai Exhibition Association (TEA)
Participants spent the day learning comprehensive content across four key modules, delivered by experienced experts in the exhibition industry:

On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, the Thai Exhibition Association (TEA) hosted four of Thailand’s leading media outlets—Bangkok Post, Prachachat Turakij, Bangkok Biz News, and Thansettakij—at the Sapphire Room, BITEC Bangna.
Under the theme “New TEA Leadership Navigates Economic Slowdown to Position Thailand as ASEAN’s Trade Show Hub”, the press briefing was honored by the presence of four TEA board members:
• Mr. Monchana Sattayathamrongtian, Vice President
• Ms. Supalux Suvathi, Secretary General
The session explored the post-pandemic landscape of Thailand’s exhibition industry, projections for the next three years, and TEA’s roadmap to elevate the country’s position as a regional leader in trade shows. It also introduced key upcoming initiatives from the association, including preparations for Thailand MICE Exchange 2026 (TMX26).
Later that afternoon, TEA board members participated in a special segment recording for the national television program “Clear Cut” on NBT (National Broadcasting Services of Thailand).
The program was broadcast on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 2:30 to 3:00 PM, featuring the topic: “The Economic and Social Impact of Thailand’s Exhibition Industry.”
