เมื่อวันอังคารที่ 19 สิงหาคม 2568 ที่ผ่านมา สมาคมการแสดงสินค้า (ไทย) ได้เปิดบ้านต้อนรับ 4 สื่อมวลชนชั้นนำของประเทศ ได้แก่ บางกอกโพสต์, ประชาชาติธุรกิจ, กรุงเทพธุรกิจ และฐานเศรษฐกิจ ณ ห้องแซฟไฟน์ ไบเทค บางนา ภายใต้หัวข้อ “เปิดวิสัยทัศน์นายกใหม่ TEA ฝ่าเศรษฐกิจโตแผ่ว ปักธง ‘ไทย’ ผู้นำแสดงสินค้าอาเซียน”
การให้สัมภาษณ์ในครั้งนี้ ได้รับเกียรติจากคณะกรรมการบริหารสมาคมฯ ทั้ง 4 ท่าน ได้แก่

On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, the Thai Exhibition Association (TEA) hosted four of Thailand’s leading media outlets—Bangkok Post, Prachachat Turakij, Bangkok Biz News, and Thansettakij—at the Sapphire Room, BITEC Bangna.
Under the theme “New TEA Leadership Navigates Economic Slowdown to Position Thailand as ASEAN’s Trade Show Hub”, the press briefing was honored by the presence of four TEA board members:
• Mr. Loy Joon How, President
• Mr. Kavin Kittiboonya, Vice President, Treasurer, Marketing & PR, Chairperson
• Mr. Monchana Sattayathamrongtian, Vice President
• Ms. Supalux Suvathi, Secretary General
The session explored the post-pandemic landscape of Thailand’s exhibition industry, projections for the next three years, and TEA’s roadmap to elevate the country’s position as a regional leader in trade shows. It also introduced key upcoming initiatives from the association, including preparations for Thailand MICE Exchange 2026 (TMX26).
Later that afternoon, TEA board members participated in a special segment recording for the national television program “Clear Cut” on NBT (National Broadcasting Services of Thailand).
The program was broadcast on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 2:30 to 3:00 PM, featuring the topic:
“The Economic and Social Impact of Thailand’s Exhibition Industry.”
Representing TEA in the broadcast were:

สมาคมการแสดงสินค้า (ไทย) นำโดยนายกสมาคมคนใหม่ คุณลอย จุน ฮาว ประกาศความร่วมมือกับ คณะกรรมการอาหารแปรรูปและอาหารอนาคต หอการค้าไทย เพื่อร่วมขับเคลื่อนโครงการ “12 ล้านมื้อเพื่อคนไทย”เปลี่ยนอาหารส่วนเกินจากงานแสดงสินค้าและกิจกรรมขนาดใหญ่ ให้กลายเป็นมื้ออาหารคุณภาพสำหรับผู้ขาดแคลนทั่วประเทศ

Thai Exhibition Association joins the movement to reduce food waste from exhibitions through the “12 Million Meals for Thais” initiative.
Thai Exhibition Association (TEA), led by its newly appointed President, Mr. Loy Joon How, has officially announced a collaboration with the Processed Food and Future Food Committee of the Thai Chamber of Commerce to support the nationwide initiative “12 Million Meals for Thais.” This initiative aims to transform surplus food from exhibitions and large-scale events into quality meals for underserved communities across Thailand.
“The exhibition industry does more than drive economic growth—it can also serve as a model of social and environmental responsibility. This project enables us to use resources more efficiently and turn surplus food into meaningful opportunities.” said Mr. Loy Joon How, President of TEA.
The collaboration was kicked off during Global Exhibitions Day 2025 on 27 June 2025, held at SAMA Garden @ BITEC BURI, where leading exhibition venues in Thailand participated in food redistribution efforts, including:

Ms. Panadda Kongma, the project’s lead coordinator, noted:

Thai Exhibition Association (TEA) successfully hosted Global Exhibitions Day 2025 in a warm and inspiring atmosphere under the theme “Exhibitions Unleash Potential” 🎉
The event took place on 27 June 2025 at SAMA Garden, BITEC Buri, in celebration of a significant day for the global exhibition industry. It brought together professionals from the MICE and exhibition sectors to network, exchange insights, and explore new perspectives from distinguished speakers in the fields of design and events.

สมาคมการแสดงสินค้า (ไทย) เข้าร่วมประชุม UFI Associations’ Committee ณ เมืองเทสซาโลนิกิ ประเทศกรีซ
เมื่อวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 5 มิถุนายน 2568 นายลอย จูน ฮาว นายกสมาคมฯ และนางสาวปนิษฐา บุรี ได้เป็นผู้แทนสมาคมการแสดงสินค้า (ไทย) เข้าร่วมการประชุม UFI Associations’ Committee ซึ่งจัดขึ้นภายใต้กรอบงาน UFI European Events Week 2025
การประชุมครั้งนี้เป็นเวทีสำคัญที่รวบรวมตัวแทนจากสมาคมด้านการจัดนิทรรศการทั่วโลก เพื่อหารือ แลกเปลี่ยนมุมมอง และร่วมขับเคลื่อนประเด็นสำคัญในอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์
โดยงาน Events Week ในปีนี้ได้ต้อนรับผู้นำในอุตสาหกรรมมากกว่า 300 รายจากยุโรปและนานาประเทศทั่วโลก เพื่อพบปะ สร้างเครือข่าย และแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ในหัวข้อสำคัญ เช่น

On Thursday, 5 June 2025, Mr. Loy Joon How, President of the Thai Exhibition Association, and Ms. Panittha Buri represented the Association at the UFI Associations’ Committee Meeting, held as part of the UFI European Events Week 2025 in Thessaloniki.
This important meeting brought together representatives from exhibition associations around the world to exchange insights, discuss key issues, and collaborate on advancing the global MICE industry.

การประชุมคณะกรรมการบริหารชุดใหม่ครั้งแรก
เมื่อวันที่ 11 มิถุนายน 2568 สมาคมการแสดงสินค้า (ไทย) ได้จัดการประชุม คณะกรรมการบริหารสมาคมฯ ชุดใหม่ครั้งแรก เพื่อหารือแนวทางการดำเนินงานของสมาคมในวาระปี 2568–2569 พร้อมทั้งร่วมกำหนดทิศทางในการพัฒนาและยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมการจัดแสดงสินค้าของไทยให้ก้าวหน้าและยั่งยืน
การประชุมครั้งนี้มีคณะกรรมการจากหลากหลายภาคส่วนเข้าร่วมอย่างพร้อมเพรียง โดยร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมอง วิสัยทัศน์ และข้อเสนอแนะ เพื่อร่วมกันวางรากฐานที่มั่นคงให้กับสมาคมฯ ทั้งในด้านการสร้างเครือข่าย การยกระดับบุคลากร และการผลักดันมาตรฐานงานนิทรรศการไทยให้เป็นที่ยอมรับในระดับสากล

On 11 June 2025, Thai Exhibition Association held the first meeting of its newly appointed Executive Committee to discuss the Association’s strategic direction for the 2025–2026 term, and to collaboratively set the course for advancing and strengthening Thailand’s exhibition industry in a sustainable manner.
The meeting was attended by committee members from diverse sectors, who came together to exchange perspectives, share visions, and contribute valuable insights toward laying a strong foundation for the Association. Key areas of focus included enhancing industry networks, developing professional capabilities, and elevating Thai exhibition standards to gain wider international recognition.

Electrical Technician for the MICE Industry (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions) – Level 2
📅 Friday, 4 July 2025 | 08:00 – 16:00
📍 Sapphire Room 113–114, IMPACT Forum, Muang Thong Thani
(Limited to 24 participants only)
🔹 Eligibility Criteria for Level 2 Examination
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
1. At least 1 year of work experience in MICE-related electrical technician roles,
starting from the date of receiving the Level 1 National Skill Standard Certificate
or
2. Achieved a minimum score of 80% in the Level 1 National Skill Standard test
