On September 29, 2023, the Domestic MICE Department organized the 2nd EMTEX POLICY (Policy and Development Plan Committee meeting for the Exhibition Industry in Thailand). Dr. Supawan Teerarat, Senior Vice President – of Development & Innovation Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), chaired the meeting, Ms. Kanokporn Damrongkul, Director – of the Domestic MICE Department and Ms. Panittha Buri President of Thai Exhibition Association (TEA), also participated
The meeting was attended by representatives from various government and private sector organizations, including the Community Development Department, the Department of International Trade Promotion, the Cooperative Promotion Department, the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA), The Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI), The Office of SMEs Promotion (OSMEP), Federation of Thai Industries, the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Thai Exhibition Association (TEA)
During the meeting, TCEB reported on the results of their support for Thai exhibitions in 2023. They successfully organized 19 events, attracting 509,747 visitors and generating trade worth 8,115 billion Baht. The proposed budget and direction for 2024 include elevating Thai exhibitions to the international level and continuing the “SPIRE THAILAND” marketing campaign, focusing on knowledge sharing and networking. The meeting approved the Exhibition Clinic activity scheduled for December, aimed at enhancing and improving the efficiency of organizing exhibitions in Thailand in 2024. This initiative involves collaboration with 12 partner organizations under the EMTEX project to extend exhibition services to more than 20 organizers nationwide. This strategic approach ensures Thai exhibitions’ sustainable growth and readiness for future international events.

เมื่อวันที่ 29 กันยายน 2566 ฝ่ายการตลาดไมซ์ในประเทศ จัดการประชุมคณะกรรมการระดับนโยบายและแผนงานการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมงานแสดงสินค้าของประเทศไทย (EMTEX POLICY) ครั้งที่ 2/2566 โดย ดร.ศุภวรรณ ตีระรัตน์ รองผู้อำนวยการ สสปน. เป็นประธานการประชุมฯ ร่วมด้วย นางสาวกนกพร ดำรงกุล ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายการตลาดไมซ์ในประเทศ และคุณปนิษฐา บุรี นายกสมาคมการแสดงสินค้า (ไทย) โดยมีคณะกรรมการภาครัฐและเอกชนที่เป็นหน่วยงานภาคีเข้าร่วมประชุม ได้แก่ กรมการพัฒนาชุมชน, กรมส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศ, กรมส่งเสริมสหกรณ์, DEPA, BOI, สสว., สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย, หอการค้าไทย และสมาคมการแสดงสินค้า (ไทย)
ทั้งนี้ สสปน. รายงานผลการดำเนินผลการสนับสนุนงานแสดงสินค้าไทยในปี 2566 จำนวน 19 งาน มีผู้เข้าชมงาน 509,747 คน สร้างมูลค่าการซื้อขายจำนวน 8,115 พันล้านบาท และแนวทางการดำเนินงาปีงบประมาณ 2567 คือ ยกระดับงานแสดงสินค้าประเทศไทย และได้ต่อยอดความร่วมมือ แคมเปญการตลาด “SPIRE THAILAND” เน้นการให้องค์ความรู้ การประชาสัมพันธ์ผ่านเครือข่าย ประชุมมีมติเห็นชอบจัดกิจกรรม Exhibition Clinic ในเดือนธันวาคมนี้เพื่อยกระดับและเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการจัดงานแสดงสินค้าในประเทศในปี 2567 ผ่านพันธมิตรภายใต้โครงการ EMTEX 12 หน่วยงาน ต่อยอดจัดงานแสดงสินค้าในภูมิภาคให้กับผู้จัดงานแสดงสินค้าทั่วประเทศ กว่า 20 องค์กร ซึ่งทำให้งานแสดงสินค้าไทยสามารถเติบโตได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและยั่งยืน เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมไปสู่งานระดับนานาชาติต่อไป
